Now the angels said to be a good ol’ gal Be true to your man and don’t you mess around Don’t drink too much and don’t stay out late If you wanna get in to those pearly gates Keep your eye on the prize and don’t tell no lies Cause one day soon you’re gonna realize If you don’t do good like a good girl should The deviil’s gonna take you like you know he would Now the devil says to play rock’n’roll Have a good ol’ time go on and sell your soul Have a drink on me go on and do that dance Before it’s too late come on and take that chance Let’s get real high, let’s have a ball Let’s go downtown yeah let’s rock’n’roll Go out all night and let’s paint the town Cause those god damn angels bound to bring you down

Poor & Broke 03:20
Well if the rich are gettin’ richer And the poor just stay broke I might as well go on and take another choke Of this whiskey Soak up all my blues Seems like the way it’ going baby I ain’t got nothin’ left to lose Now if the sick are gettin’ sicker And the tired don’t wake up I don’t see no other way to look at this here cup But half empty Never was half full Cause I ain’t got a dime baby And no time for this bull-shit Why don’t you take me to the station And put me on a train Just get me out of here before I go insane With these blues Poor and broke ass blues And I can’t go on wearin’ These poor and broke ass shoes Lord won’t you please give me the answer Won’t you show me the way Cause I can’t go on livin Like this for one more day with these blues Poor and broke ass blues And I can’t go on wearin These poor and broke ass…..shoes

Oh I feel so low feel like I could die How the teardrops fall, how my hearts on fire And I can’t stand up without fallin’ down I gotta get right out of this no good town Gotta move, I gotta move Gotta get right out of this no good town now Oh I never knew just what you meant to me Now it's too late I can’t make you see How I loved you so and it ain’t no lie And now the tears keep fallin from the midnight sky Gotta move, I gotta move Gotta get right out of this no good town now I never knew, how much I loved you I didn’t care, never asked you why I didn’t see, only pushed and I shoved you And now the tears keep fallin’ from the midnight sky now

Guess my time has not gone Yes I’m carryin’ on Goin down this long and twisted road Thought I’d throw in the hat But it ain’t my time yet Since all signs keep on pointin’ to go Ain’t no whiskey or gin Make the state that I’m in Any better or worse than it is If this train’s rollin’ on Gonna have to stay strong Keep my eye on the prize That’s showbiz Well I spent my last dime Just to get here And I tell you it was worth every cent And it’s some kinda strange There ain’t nothin’ I’d change Going out on that limb like I went ……. Did I tell you I met my ghost At the bus stop Still dancin’ to that old dusty tune Well I got on that bus And I bid her fairwell On that weary and that dark afternoon So go on have a drink It’s on me boys 3 cheers here’s to nothin’ at all If this train’s rollin on This road’s twisted and long Yes I know, you will catch me if I fall So 3 cheers here’s to nothin’ at all

God Damn USA 01:44
You gotta be good You gotta be tough You gotta raise hell And you gotta have luck To play – in the good ol’ USA You gotta pay your dues in the God-damn USA The coldest night in Buffalo Down in Louisville you never know What you might get ‘cept the good folks that you met Thank God for Circleville And those good folks that I met And it sure ain’t about the money It’s only the strong that survive You’ve got to play hard Don’t be a dummy If you wanna make it out of here alive In Lawrence out at Frank’s North Star At Kirby’s down in Witchita Playin’ for barbeque Out at Bob’s Bend Store And a bucket of tips can’t ask for too much more Now you might not make it out ahead But you’re doin’ good if you ain’t half dead Once you done played In the good ol’ USA You gotta pay your dues in the God-damn USA Once you paid your dues, Still got shoes Made it out alive just singing the blues Yes you may keep going on your way Cause you made it out alive Of the God-damn USA God-damn!

Woke up this morning with a tear in my eye My baby don’t love me and I don’t know why I done everything I always did But it just gone wrong I guess I’ll be leavin’, Guess I better go and move along Said my love he don’t love me Swear the world that it’s true I’ve done everything that a woman can do But every time I try to do right I’m a doin’ wrong I guess I’ll be leavin’ Guess I better go and move along

I'm Leavin' 03:52
I ain’t cryin’ cause I’m blue No I’m cryin’ cause you’re lyin’ To my face You told me you were sorry But that was just a lie You took my heart Tore it out you got no alibi One day when you find out The damage that you done Don’t you come callin’ me, no darlin I’ll be off and gone I’m leavin’ tired of you treatin’ me so bad …. I don’t know how we got here But I sure no how to leave I’m walkin’ out, head held high My heart upon my sleeve One day when you wake up And face the facts it’s true I did what I said I would Can’t say the same for you I’m leavin’ tired of you treatin’ me so bad… …. I’m leavin’ tired of you treatin’ me so bad So turn around and say goodbye To the best thing that you had One day when you look back, honey And see it like I do Then you’ll realize you need me More than I need you I’m leavin’ tired of you treatin’ me so bad…

I was riding number nine Headed south from Caroline I heard that lonesome whistle blow Got in trouble had to roam Lost my gal and left my home I heard that lonesome whistle blow Just a kid actin’ smart I went and broke my darlin’s heart Guess I was too young to know They caught me on the Georgia Main Locked me to a ball and chain I heard that lonesome whistle blow All alone I bear this shame I’m a number not a name I heard that lonesome whistle blow All I do is sit and cry When the evening train goes by I heard that lonesome whistle blow I’ll be locked here in this cell Til my body’s just a shell Til my hair turns whiter than snow I’ll never see that gal of mine I’m in Georgia doin’ time I heard that lonesome whistle blow…

TRIXIE TRAINWRECK:
Wild child, Trixie Trainwreck aka Trinity Sarratt was born in San Francisco and moved to Berlin on a whim when she was 18. She started her musical endeavors in the underground trains back in 1999 and went on to make a name for herself working in and promoting shows in almost every bar in town as well as touring the EU and the USA with a handful of bands (Kamikaze Queens, Cry Babies, Runaway Brides) and most recently with her one woman show as TRIXIE TRAINWRECK NO MAN BAND. She’s probably the hardest working girl in showbiz…and a mother, too!!

THE RECORINGS:
When DYLAN WALSHE introduced Trixie Trainwreck to Charlie Hangdog on the premise of playing around London, no one could have predicted what would happen next. After a handful of shows and what may have been a one- off session with Bruce Brand (Thee Headcoats, Thee Milkshakes, HOLLY GOLIGHTLY, Hipbone Slim) and Paul Seacroft (THE SELECTER, played with members of Jim Jones Revue, Urban Voodoo Machine, Prince Buster), they would end up recording a whole album with Ed Deegan at the amazing Gizzard Studios for Voodoo Rhythm Records!
Well, that's just what happened and this is what we got just 3 action packed days later! Recorded 99% live and analogue, here comes 13 OVERDRIVEN-LONG-GONE-BROKEN-HEARTED-COUNTRY-BLUES-TRASH numbers from the wrong side of the tracks. And it feels so right. "3 Cheers to Nothing" sums up the last 18 years of the SAN FRANCISCO born, BERLIN based Trixie Trainwreck in exile, taking you along on her personal adventures and inner struggles with the ghosts of yesterdays past, angels, demons, and everything in between. The sound is just as unexpected as the rest. We call it TRAINWRECK BLUES!
